On Friday, March 10, the State of New York Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation bought the land from The Trust for Public Land (and their partner, the Open Space Institute). The 2,518-acre property will be added to Minnewaska State Park Preserve.
This tremendous accomplishment is thanks to the many, many individuals and groups who have long fought to protect this land.
